Edmarc Hospice for Children

Edmarc provides family-centered home health and hospice for children with life-threatening illnesses through nursing, social, bereavement, and volunteer support. Our goal is to ease the gravity of pediatric illness and death and provide care for the patient and family as a whole. Families never receive a bill for any service Edmarc provides thanks to generous community support.

Easter Baskets for Edmark!

The Virginia Beach Shag Club will conduct its annual Easter Basket collection for the Edmarc families at the Mix & Mingles on March 11th and 18th. We will collect Easter Basket supplies such as:

Chocolate, Lollipops, Assorted Candy, Sensory Fidget Toys, & Legos suitable for Teens.

Cash donations will also be greatly appreciatively for our Edmarc families. Last year our Club donated enough Easter Basket items for 180 children as well as a generous cash donation. Thanks to everyone in the club for your continued generosity for this fabulous charitable organization.

Souper Bowl
January 18th & February 4th 2026

The results are in! The Virginia Beach Shag Club determined the winner of Super Bowl LX! The Seattle Seahawks 12th man fans donated 92 pounds of food compared to the New England fans donating 89 pounds of food! So as a result, the Seattle Seahawks would win this year's game. Did your team win?? Shaggers---Thanks for all your generosity. We believe far more food was donated this year than last year!

Easter Baskets for Edmarc
March 11th & 18th 2026

Thanks to the generosity of all of you in the Virginia Beach Shag Club, we were able to donate a large number of Easter Baskets supplies and $486.00 in cash to the EDMARC organization. Because of you, there will be many happy smiles on the EDMARC families on Easter morning. THANK YOU!!

School Supplies Drive
July 22nd & 29th 2026

At this time of the year our charity, Edmarc, collects schools supplies for the children of families currently receiving hospice services. You generosity can help these children get the school year off to a good start! We will be collecting on Wednesdays July 22nd and 29th.
